This policy explains how Peter K Design Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit www.peterkdesign.co.uk, contact us, subscribe to our tools or buy a download. We are the data controller for this data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Our calculators run in your browser. The figures you type into our online tools are processed on your own device and are not sent to us. Where a tool remembers your inputs, they are stored in your browser’s local storage on that device only, and you can clear them at any time with the tool’s Reset button or your browser settings.

Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, including:
- Squarespace – website hosting, member accounts, commerce and analytics
- Payment providers (such as Stripe or PayPal) – to process payments
- Google – email (Gmail) and web fonts used by our tools, which are loaded from Google’s servers and so receive your IP address
- Our accountants, insurers and professional advisers where needed, and authorities where the law requires it
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, transfers are protected by UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless they lead to a contract
- Member accounts: for as long as the account is open, then up to 12 months
- Orders and financial records: 6 years after the end of the financial year, as required for tax purposes
- Analytics data: as set by Squarespace’s retention settings
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent. To use these rights, email peter.kiss.design@gmail.com. We will respond within one month.
